Rebbetin Riddle Says...

Say Little and Do Much!
The Power of PrayerA Valuable Lesson!

Many years ago, a group of men came to learn Torah with the Rebbe of the town of Viedeslav. The men asked the Rebbe lots of questions. At the end of the day, the Rebbe asked his son Simcha a question of his own. "Have you learned anything about the mitzvah of showing hospitality to strangers?" Simcha answered, "I think so. Please give me five minutes."

After a few minutes, the boy returned. "Are you ready to share what you have learned about the mitzvah of showing hospitality to strangers?" his father asked.

Simcha didn't quote the Torah. He didn't quote the Sages. He didn't even quote his own learned father. Instead, he just smiled and asked everyone to come into the next room.

There, without saying a word, he showed them what the mitzvah of hospitality is all about!
