Rebbetin Riddle Says...

Rabbi Akiva: Our Rock of Sages
In G-d We Trust! Before you light up, speak up!

Many years ago, a rich man named a Kalba Savua hired an ignorant shepherd, Akiva, to watch his flocks. Kalba Savua's daughter, Rachel, loved the shepherd. But before she would marry him, she made him promise to study Torah.

Since he was 40 years old and couldn't even write his name, Akiva wasn't sure that he could succeed in learning. But one day, he saw water falling on a rock. The constant dripping made a hole in the solid stone. Akiva thought, "Is my mind harder than this rock?

If I work every day, than I too can change!"

Rabbi Akiva studied for 24 years until he became the greatest sage of his generation!

Rabbi Riddle's Kwazy Kwestions:
  1. What's the difference between a winner and a quitter?
  1. A quitter never wins and a winner never quits!

In G-d We Trust! Before you light up, speak up!
