Actions Speak Louder Than Words!
To Your Health!Every Day is Mother's Day! And Father's Day, Too!
In this week's Torah Portion, Chayei Sarah, Abraham mourns for and buries his wife Sarah in Chevron. Then Abraham sends his servant Eliezer to find a wife for Isaac, Abraham's son. Rebecca (Rivkah) fetches water for Eliezer and his camels, thus showing that she is the right wife for Isaac. By performing similar deeds of kindness, we follow the ways of our holy ancestors!

The Jewish people are known by three things: modesty, compassion, and performing acts of kindness.

  • Any good deed you perform is an act of kindness.

  • The Lubavitcher Rebbe said that Moshiach is ready to appear. All we have to do is increase our acts of kindness.

Rabbi Riddle's Kwazy Kwestions:
  1. You must be 13 to do the mitzvah of Tefillin. What must you be to do an act of kindness?
  1. Willing!

To Your Health!Every Day is Mother's Day! And Father's Day, Too!
